It’s time to stop playing the field and give yourself 100%. You know who your are! You go from one fad diet to another. One get stronger, leaner, faster-quick program after another. Just like the celebrities that endorse them, the promises are too good to be true. Lose 20 pounds in two weeks. Get six-pack abs in just 30 days. Eat as much as you want, just think yourself thin.
As with any new program, the excitement is overwhelming, but you are fully committed to being perfect and plan on losing those last 20 pounds by the end of the month. You will fit into those jeans you bought 10 years ago. Fast forward to your eighth day of drinking cabbage juice and working out 2 hours a day. You are done, defeated, and no closer to your goal. Now what? It’s time…
It’s time to make a commitment to yourself. Be fully committed to you! It can be overwhelming to do EVERYTHING that needs to be done EVERYDAY and still make time for yourself. I know you have a lot going on, but you deserve more than the random weeknight fitness class. This is a life-long, day-in and day-out pursuit to be your best self for you!
This week we start a new 12 week session of the Unbreakable Fitness Spartan Classes. There are several options each week for you to get in the gym (and outdoors) and be good to yourself. Having said that, there are still may be times when you will not be able to make it to the session, sometimes for a couple of weeks. Ok. But just because you can’t make it to class, or find time to do the entire prescribed workout for the day, does not mean that all is lost. COMMIT TO DOING SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOURSELF EVERYDAY.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be rolling out a series of “back pocket workouts.” These are 5 to 20 minute routines, which require ZERO equipment, setup, or anything other than the commitment to do them. Before we get into the workouts, here are a few “good things” that you can do for yourself, EVERYDAY.
