I want to tell you something that you already know, or at least that I hope you know.
I am in awe! I am in awe of the resilience, character, cooperation, community, commitment, drive, and your overall embracing of the “suck-y-ness” you have all shown. We are all doing things that we never imagined we would have to deal with, not just with exercise, but with every aspect of our lives. Yet, despite all of this, you have come together, owned it, and thrived in ways that inspire me.
There is nothing sexy about working out in the parking lot; nothing ideal. There is nothing “Yoga-y”about getting hit with sprinklers in the middle of a Child’s Pose. We kickbox without touching each other…heck we are not even using gloves! Some of us are forced to stay on ZOOM. Yet, through it all , I see everyone’s true call to action. This is how THE UNBREAKABLE does it and we are damn proud of it.
We have created a brand-new way, that is not just, “ok for now”, but is effective and yield possibilities for greater challenges, yet unknown. Not only is your body stronger, your resolve is stronger and even more determined. I have witnessed tremendous growth as we have all been pushed out of our comfort zones. We have used ADVERISTY AS OUR FUEL to take ourselves and our fitness to another level. This is what we do, and nothing will get in the way, nothing will stop our grind, nothing will stop our community, our friendships, network, and family. We are THE UNBREAKABLE.
For those joining via ZOOM, the dedication you demonstrated is nothing short of amazing. I think there is an unfortunate and over-generalized belief about at home workouts. Some assume that such workouts are not challenging, or that maybe that they are awkward. THE UNBREAKABLE call total Bullshit on that. We grind on-line too. ZOOMERS are getting stronger and my earlier fear of possibly losing a segment of our community via ZOOM has been dispelled. It has been a pleasure and a real privilege to get to know you, in a way, even more so than what has been possible during our in-person contacts. Thank you. Thank you for welcoming us into your homes.
OK…so here we are. It is the end of Summer Program. It is time to embark on new challenges for the Fall Program. We know that there will be adversity, challenges, and situations that we cannot yet imagine. In a strange kind of way, we welcome it. We are ready for whatever comes our way. Bring it on…WE GOT THIS!
Please find great satisfaction for your progress and achievements during Summer Program. Take a moment to recognize how easy it would have been to quit. You chose not to quit…You got up…You showed up and kicked some serious “ass-phalt”.
As you know, we have free classes this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (click here for the schedule). If you have a friend or family that you feel would like to join us, please invite them to our family. We are happy to welcome them.
Fall Program will begin on Monday September 14th. Please note that we have added some new classes; most notably two running classes on Tuesday and Thursday’s at 7 pm…and yes, it is ok to come if you are slow. That is the point! You are THE UNBREAKABLE AND YOU COME TO GET BETTER!
