2 things that I never really thought would happen this week.
- The Cubs won the World Series.
- I ran (AND COMPLETED) a 50 mile race.
- Set a lofty goal. Write it down. Stare it in the face.
- Work relentlessly towards it. Especially when it seems/feels like it’s not going to happen.
- Embrace the process. Especially the parts/time that you don’t like. It’s ok to be bad at something now, just keep getting better.
- Believe in yourself.
- Develop a mantra. Positive self-talk works. Practice it always.
- Go get it.
